Purchasing State of California Registered Warrants
Sacramento County is set to redeem these warrants if and when the state issues them. For details about the redemption process, view the Instruction Flyer

The Department of Finance

We are responsible for the following divisions: Auditor-Controller, Tax Collector and Treasurer. Our offices are located in downtown Sacramento at 700 H Street.

The Department of Finance:

  • Manages the County's treasury
  • Provides for the collection and investment of funds
  • Provides fiscal services and independently reports valid financial information to the general public, county departments and other government entities
  • Provides accurate and timely financial information to Sacramento County and processes property tax collection and business licenses
