Welcome to the Sacramento County Department of Finance. The
Director is responsible for the following offices:
Auditor-Controller, Tax Collector and Treasurer.
Each of these offices is a division within the department.
Our offices are located in downtown Sacramento at 700 H Street.
The department also has separate Administrative
Services and Management Information Systems Divisions as part of
its central operations.
The Department of Finance:
Manages the County's treasury
Provides for the collection and investment of funds
Provides fiscal services and independently reports valid financial information to the general public, county departments and other government entities
Provides accurate and timely financial information to Sacramento County and processes property tax collection and business licenses

The department strives to provide the general public and County taxpayers
with the highest possible level of customer service. If we can be of any
