Welcome to the Sacramento County Department of Finance. The Director is responsible for the following offices: Auditor-Controller, Tax Collector and Treasurer. Each of these offices is a division within the department. Our offices are located in downtown Sacramento at 700 H Street. The department also has separate Administrative Services and Management Information Systems Divisions as part of its central operations.

The Department of Finance:

• Manages the County's treasury
• Provides for the collection and investment of funds
• Provides fiscal services and independently reports valid financial information to the general public, county departments and other government entities
• Provides accurate and timely financial information to Sacramento County and processes property tax collection and business licenses
