Accounting and Financial ReportingThe Accounting and Financial Reporting Unit maintains the accounting records
and financial transactions related to capital asset; monitors debt service
activity; and calculates the tax rate for debt service. In addition, the
unit provides budgeting and accounting services to independent special districts;
processes mandated claims for cost reimbursements; prepares the County-wide
cost allocation plan; evaluates departmental costs rate proposals; and compiles
